Animal Riddles

This fall we have been enjoying our trip through forests, parks and ponds with our Houghton-Mifflin Anthology. We learned about many animals that live in the wild and we decided to write some animal riddles about different creatures.

Check here in the near future to see the results of our fun. Meanwhile I have created some goodies to help you if you decide to create some animal riddles of your own.

Here are some small animal graphics to use in creature riddles, concept sorts, bingo cards or whatever else you can think of.

I also created this prompt sheet to use on the overhead with my students. We'll made some mock animal riddles before I turn the loose on their own.
