Reading Strategies For Parents and Families
I just recently
wrote a successful grant for a "lending library" for my kindergarten classroom.
One vital part of this program was a pamphlet with reading strategies for parents.
I wanted to
supply them with successful ideas and words to use with their students. I thought it was
important to give them words their children would recognize from their learning
experiences in the classroom.
Here are the
pamphlets I designed. You will recognize terminology and strategies as those you use with
your students. Feel free to download the pamphets and share them with your students and
families.
